Ledger Live is a companion app for viewing supported crypto accounts and managing compatible Ledger devices. Download it only from Ledger’s official website or a verified app store, and check the publisher and URL carefully. Convincing imitations are a common risk.

After setup, connect and unlock your hardware wallet as directed. Use the app to review account balances, activity, and device settings. Your private keys remain secured by the hardware wallet. Available features vary by asset, device, and region. Never share your recovery phrase, enter it into a website, or store it online; support will never need it.

When preparing a transfer, treat the computer screen as a preview, not the final authority. Compare the destination address and amount with the details shown on your device, then approve only if they match. Be cautious with unfamiliar tokens, links, and requests to connect to third-party services. A small test transfer may help when sending to a new address.
